Environmental Issues In Lebanon

One of the biggest environmental issues Lebanon is facing today is the Marine pollution. A variety of factors affect the water and coastline of Lebanon, such as oil spills, noxious liquid substance spills, sewage spills and the dumping of food and plastic waste inside the sea.

The Food and Beverage industry has a big role to play towards the environment as it generates more than 40% of the total food waste.
